5 Days for the Homeless

Every year, the Sprott School of Business and business schools across Canada participate in a fundraising initiative called 5 Days for the Homeless. The event consists of a small group of students physically experiencing homelessness by sleeping outside with no shelter, no income, no phone and only being able to eat food that is donated to them for 5 days and 5 nights, while fundriasing for a local organization. This past week, Sprott students and APP sisters Jamie Downs and Charlotte Burrows participated in this cause with proceeds going towards Operation Come Home. Together, with 5 other Sprott students, they were able to raise over $9,000!! What a huge accomplishment in such a short time!! We are so incrediby proud of them for taking part in this event, you both are admired for your hard work and dedication!
