Panhellenic Recruitment Fall 2013
This year Alpha Pi Phi had the honour of being invited to Carleton’s National Panhellenic Council (NPC), an internationally renown umbrella organization to Greek organizations in Canada and the United States. For us, this meant full and complete recognition by Carleton University’s administration as a social and academic support club on campus. As a part of this council, we were able to advertise sorority life through Carleton in the first-year Carleton acceptance packages, and on campus during recruitment week. Although participating on NPC meant a lot of changes for APP during September, we managed to adapt and absolutely ROCK it!
Our Senior & Junior Recruitment Chairs, Danielle Crawford and Clarissa Chambers did an exceptional job updating us, firstly, with the new guidelines regarding Panhel. Overseen by Oliva Clement, our External Programming Officer, the trio plowed through document after document all summer to become experts on the requirements of NPC. Over the course of 3 weeks they pulled together 6 big events so that our Potential New Members (PNMs) could see everything that we had to offer. Obviously, a lot! Snaps to these three beautiful ladies who worked SO hard to bring everything together without flaw.
