Welcome Back!

Welcome back everyone, to the school year of 2012/2013! Four months of summer have gone by quicker than ever, and the weeks apart have left us dying for September to arrive and for the reunions to begin. Our sisters have been spread all across the country and the globe this time - I spent time at home on the west coast, Mel Cantin arrived back from her study abroad trip in Spain along with Ali Piwowar from Australia, and Vicky Berthiaume left to Lyon, France in August for studies this fall!

Now that a few weeks have gone by and school has begun, many of us have been suffering from the frosh flu after participating in Carleton’s Fall Orientation. About half of us were involved in facilitator, vice head and head positions. Snaps to our girls and everyone else who volunteered 20+ hours a day for those 7 days, welcoming freshmen to Carleton. Way to get involved! In that week, Carleton also raised over $30, 000 worth of funds during Shinerama, a Cystic Fibrosis research and awareness campaign. What a brilliant way to begin the school year.

Despite the flu that plagues some of us, we can NOT wait to meet all the potential new members. See you this weekend, girls!
